These are pictures of a project I just finished. They are what's called a PFM (porcelain fused to metal) bridge. Where the metal is rough there would be a layer of tooth colored porcelain fused to it so the final product that would be placed in the patients mouth would be much more esthetic than these look right now. This was a very fun, yet challenging project because of the different types of materials that would eventually be used and the different specifications that needed to be met. The benefit of this type of restoration over an all gold crown is better esthetics.
